National Apple Day

The original National Apple Day - established by Common Ground way back in 1990. The concept, to celebrate traditional orchards, their crops and varieties, as a national festival day is now well-established. The plethora of Apple Days across the country, scattered geographically across the country and scattered in calendar terms across the late September to late October time period, is all due to this original initiative.
